Back to work!Going back to work is going to be quite a change. A lot of things have happened while I was gone...A lot of new problems have risen, the routine has changed a lot. A lot of catching up to do. Wakeing up in time will be difficult. I was under sedation about 20 hours a day for a month or so...My sleep pattern is still crazy. The other day i slept until 4 PM when I went to bed at 10 PM the previous night. Some days I wake up at 8 AM or so, others I don't sleep at all.
Its been a nice few weeks since I have been able to walk around and drive. Got to do some things to my project vehicles, started new projects. Was kinda like a vacation for me. But the recovery was a lot of work...months of being stuck in bed..then a wheelchair, finally up to a walker and then crutches. Thats VERY hard to do and keep a positive mindset...Especially someone like me who NEVER stays inside..I'm always active doing something.
I still have no feeling in my hands. The feeling in my leg came back, but my hands got less and less sensitive...Its back to the way it was when I was a child and teen. So I can learn to live with it again, in hopes that I will regain feeling in time. The reasons behind the lack of feeling in my hands is another story.
It will be nice to fly again...I'll be able to do that as soon as I get a good bill of health to go back to work. Poor airplanes havn't been out for 6 months now! Going to do some treetop flying over The Great Dismal Swamp the first nice weekend I get.
I was once inspired recently to draw or color something...But I quickly lost interest as i got sidetracked on another thing. The twinkle is still there, just need more time to explore it.
